1. We have a "Well-Marked Course"

2. and a "Well-worth It Prize" in Christ.

Application Points (To Run Well We Need):

1. Trust Jesus even when you can't see where He is leading.

2. Track with others who are committed to running well.

3. Team up with Jesus to help others run free.

Discussion Questions:

1. Jesus deliberately delayed coming because what He was planning was better than what Mary and Martha were expecting. Can you describe a time in your life when this was true?

2. Jesus said Lazarus had "fallen asleep" to refer to his physical death because, for Jesus, death isn't final and He was going to wake him up. How does that truth that death isn't final for Jesus offer you comfort and hope?

3. Martha's conversation with Jesus in John 11:20-27 resonates with a lot of Christians in how she proclaims in faith that God can do anything but struggled to believe He would. Share your similar experiences with this tension.

4. What would your response have been if you were in the crowd when Lazarus came out?

5. Jesus wants us to live in freedom and purpose in Christ. How are you pursuing that in your own life and helping others do the same?
